Parte Uno
My weekend at Manuel Antonio was incredible! There was so much wildlife and the beaches were fantastic. This will be the first post for Manuel Antonio and then I will do a second one with all my awesome animal pictures tomorrow.
Five of us set out on our trip to Manuel Antonio of Friday afternoon. We took a taxi, a 4 1/2 hour bus ride, and another 1/2 hour bus ride before we finally arrived at Hostel Costa Linda. We checked into our room (a whopping $10 per night) and apparently you get what you pay for because there was bird poop on my friend's sheets and on my pillow.... don't worry, I flipped it over before I slept on it.

We didn't have to wait to go into the national park before we saw wildlife. In the bathroom there were frogs and crabs. In fact, Jasper, one of my friends on the trip, woke up with a crab on his leg this morning. They must be attracted to him because he also got bit by one when we dipped our toes in the ocean Friday night when we arrived.

ha! i am so glad you posted a pic of the poop! i was unable to determine the source of the poop, but it just keeps appearing! we are just beginning our year long journey. i am sure i'll get to the bottom of it. http://viajaryamore.com/2011/11/10/mysterypoop/
